and the rockets red glare

after spending an afternoon defeating all challengers in the (soon to be an olympic) sport of pool basketball, my wife, brother-in-law, and i traveled to the fields at mesa community college to enjoy some fireworks in celebration of july 4th. yep, what better way to celebrate american independence than by gazing skyward at a chinese invention.

i ended up with several good shots, but i didn't want to submit a ton, so i thought this presentation was the best. they are timed exposures, ranging from 1" to 4.5". comments, as always, are appreciated. enjoy.
